RMS- Router doesn't auto connect after changing from a monthly pack to a 5y pack

Hello,

My router (connected to fiber with no SIM) has its RMS monthly pack expired. I bought a new 5Y pack for it.
The router didn’t connect back to RMS since 8 days.
I have verified that the router has the pack:
Paid Management pack 5y. → valid until 2030-06-09 10:36:48

I cannot go onsite where the router is.

What can I do ?

Thank you

Good afternoon,

Majority of reasons why device may be offline on RMS are covered here : Why is my device offline / not activated on RMS? - Teltonika Networks Wiki
Please go through the steps, as this thread is often updated.

I do want to note that these steps mainly cover information in the device’s WEBUI, so you would need access to it, whether its remote, or local.
As the device has no Sim, sending a text message is not an option either.

Arturas

Hello,

The devices was working perfectly until I waited the end of the monthly pack and then switched to the 5 years pack.

Browsing the link didn’t help.

Hi there,

I wanted you to check whether the RMS service is toggled on, in company details, whether you receive some sort of an error message next to the device.

If the above advised steps do not work, you do not see any error, service is on, and the rest of the troubleshooting has been done, as in the thread provided, then it seems that everything from the RMS side is ok, and you would need to check the device itself, whether locally or remotely, if you have a connection set up.

Arturas

Hello,

Yes it is toggled on. I have several other routers and RMS is working perfectly.
When I changed the pack to 5years, it worked on 1 or 2 routers but 3 or 4 are missing.

I cannot go on site.

Hi there,

Have you managed to get to the device locally, and get it working?

Regards,

Hi,

Yes, a power reboot onsite was needed.
It works now.
