I got a brand new TSW202 switch, and updated to latest firmware. I have tried to activate this device about 15 times now without success, even factory reset it a few times.
The device says “Connected” (green color) but the RMS says “Not Activated”, it seems to get stuck on authentication every time, even though I am 100% sure the MAC, Serial # and password credentials are correct.
Any other devices (cameras, routers, etc.) connected to the same network works flawlessly with cloud registration and management, so it is cannot be a limitation in my network rather seems to be Teletonika specific.
I have 1 RMS credit registered to this device, but does not change anything.
How can I get this device to activate? Having RMS working is key for us to use this in production.
Do you have physical access to the devices themselves? Can you access their WEBUI?
Please check what firmware version is installed in the devices, and install the newest one.
Check if you can see any message near the “Status” icon in Devices tab in RMS, next to the device in question. If an error message occurs, please send a screenshot here.
If the device has an exclamation mark with an error message, and it states that service is disabled, please enable the service under Administration → Companies → View company details and if credits are available, please toggle it on.
After a week of trying to get it to work, I got a new device (RUT241) to register and after that I got the switch (TSW202) to register as well. I am not sure why multiple factory resets didn’t work, but seems to me this is some kind of cache issue if I would have a guess based on the behavior (without knowing your implementation).
