RMS: Device registered, pack applied, can't connect

I have one RUTX set up with RMS and it is working happily.

I bought a pack for another device, added it to the RMS portal and used the same code on the WebUI of the device. So far so good. As per the attached screenshot:

The device shows:

  • Management status

Enabled

  • Connection state

Failure (Device is not registered in RMS. Please login to rms.teltonika-networks.com and add this device to your account device list)

  • Serial number

The RMS portal shows:
SET PACK

DEVICE CURRENT MANAGEMENT TYPE SERVICE EXPIRES AT CURRENT DATA TYPE REMAINING DATA

Device Status: Not Activated

I have the same issue, just tried to register a RUTM11 device.
I also see that about 60 unit’s are Offline in RMS.
All this happened after the maintenance, obviously something did not go right…

Hello,

The error you are experiencing seems to be related to the Authentication code you have entered, which seems to be incorrect. If the platform itself does not provide an authentication code during device registration, then the Authentication code field in the device should stay empty. I would suggest deleting the field from the device and attempting to reconnect it to RMS using the Connect button in the WebUI.
