RMS Connection Issues

Hello,

I have a bunch of routers and a lot of them are running different firmware versions. I am now having an issue with most of my routers where they wont connect to rms. Even when sending a sms command to connect I get the following on rms:

The routers have signal as they are sending data to my database very consistently.
I have tried every firmware from 7.11 and onward, but not one has fixed the problem.

Hello,

Could you please specify how many routers are experiencing this issue?

Did the issue occur randomly, or was it triggered by a specific configuration change or firmware update?

Also, could you please try sending the following SMS command <device_password> rms_status to the affected devices and let me know the response you receive?

Best regards,

Hello,

I have experienced it with around 5 devices so far.
I am not sure, but the issue started around the time when I disabled auto extend for the management services.

For the Sms I received the following:
Disconnected, SSL Failure
Disconnected,
And Disconnected, RMS Connection Refused.

I have managed to get one of them to work again by rebooting it via sms, but to do this every time would not be ideal.

Hello,

Do all of your offline devices have valid credit assigned? When Auto Extend is disabled and a credit expires, the device will go offline until a new credit is manually assigned.

Additionally, since a reboot resolved the issue on one router, I recommend trying the same on the others.

If you’d prefer to investigate further, we’ll need a troubleshoot file from one of the affected devices. If you still have remote access to the WebUI (outside of RMS), you can download it by navigating to System → Maintenance → Troubleshoot.

Please let me know how you’d like to proceed.

Best regards,
