RMS Alerts not sending Email

Hello all,

I have set up an alert in RMS to alert me when a device moved status from Online to Offline.

The Alert is triggering OK (when I reboot a device from RMS, the ‘Action Count’ on the Alert report goes up, and is shows as successful within the log).

My email address is correct as it is selected from the system, but I am not getting the email alert. I have checked Spam filters etc.

I can see the alerts in the RMS notifications section at the top of the RMS screen too.

I’ve tested the Status Change Alert functionality, and it appears to be working as expected. To further troubleshoot your issue, could you please:

  1. Provide a screenshot of your status change alert template settings with sensitive/private information hidden?
  2. Check if you have the ELSE IF condition configured correctly in your alert settings?

I have selected ‘send notification’, please see below. With this I select a user, rather than type in an email.

I will also test the different configuration you have in your screenshot, but how so I send this alert to multiple people?

Just to clarify, the “Send notification” action will not send an email to the selected user—it will only display a notification in the Notifications section for that user. If you want the alert to be sent via email, you should select the “Send Email” action instead:
