I have a TRB140 connected to a small switch. The switch connects to 3 interfaces (TRB140 lan, HPE Miniserver lan, HPE Miniserver iLO interface).
I setup several remote access via “ADD NEW REMOTE” and “Auto Scan”.
However, HTTPS(443) to HPE Miniserver iLO interface does not work correctly.
I can get to the login prompt, but I cannot enter credentials.
What is new, though, is the warning text on the visible page:
Connection cannot be established. If you recently made changes to the network configurations, you may need to refresh this page to re-negotiate an SSL connection.
When I access the HPE Miniserver via RDP (also over Remote Access) and open the iLO web page from there, all ist working as expected.
What could be the problem?
Note: The iLO interface does not have a certificate and I jump over the warning in the web browser when connecting from the Windows session on the Miniserver. However, I cannot do this on the Remote Access tool of RMS.
How could I solve this issue?
I’ve already rebooted the TRB140, the Miniserver and also the iLO card.
A solution on the internet suggests to delete the browser cache (which I obviously cannot do in this remote access proxy of RMS, or can I?), and resetting (rebooting) the iLO card. Which I did.
I think it’s a potential TLS issue. The iLO interface is using a self-signed certificate…
