Remote Access HMI in VNC : Error Bad configuration

Hello,

I am trying to access my HMI, which is connected to the RUT140 remotely using Remote Access. I have 6 installations (6 routers) , but I can only access 2 of them.

When I open the link for the other installations, it says “bad configuration,” even though I have applied the same configuration in the Remote Access section for all of them.

What could be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Could you please confirm if the default gateways on the HMI devices are configured properly with the correct RUT140 LAN IP address?

Additionally, as a troubleshooting step, you might try enabling Masquerading in the router settings. You can do this by navigating to Network → Firewall → General Settings and enabling masquerading on the LAN zone.

Let me know if this makes any difference.

Kind regards,

I wanted to confirm that the default gateways on the HMI devices are configured correctly with the proper RUT140 LAN IP address.

I have also enabled Masquerading; however, the issue persists.

For your reference, I am able to successfully connect to the HMI devices using both OpenVPN and RealVNC.

Best regards.
