Problems with SIM-Card

Hi, i have problems to activate my SIM-card in the RUT240-Router in my Camper.
It works once, but not now.
I tried it in the Roam App and with the Web access. It is Telekom-card.
The SIM-card works in a mobile phone.
Got WiFi, but no Internet.
What Can i do?

Thank you for reaching out. To better assist you, could you check the following:

  • Does the SIM card require a PIN code? If so, have you entered it in Network → Mobile settings?
  • Can you confirm that the correct APN is being used for Telekom? Custom APN can be selected in Network → Mobile page or Network → WAN → mob1s1a1 settings.
  • Could you provide a screenshot from Status → Network → Mobile?
  • Please also ensure that the antennas are properly screwed in.
  • Could you provide any connection related logs from System → Maintenace → Troubleshoot System log → Show section?

I have a PIN code and it is the correct one. Tested in mobile phone.

Cannot send log file because TXT not allowed.

After 3 seconds shows at “Connection state” again Failure.

It appears that the issue might be related to an incorrect APN specified in the Network → Mobile settings:

Could you please select the correct APN and restart the connection through Status → Network → Mobile?

But what is the correct APN? I tried not with custom, same: no connection.
It works last year, that is, what i do not understand. I often have problems with your router.
I bought it in a bundle with the Roam antenna. But not happy with the router. A friend had same problems with your router. Would like to use your RUTX50, but it is soo expensive and i bought mine a year ago. Is it possible to chance?

The correct APN for your connection is internet.telekom. Please ensure that this APN is set correctly in both:

  • Network → Mobile → General
  • Network → WAN → mob1s1a1

Additionally, please verify that the credentials (username, password) for PAP authentication type are specified correctly.
