Bonjour,
Hi,
I believe I already replied to your message that was created in English, but I am sending the response again here. Let’s continue the discussion either there or here in one place to avoid duplicate communication.
Can you please specify which firmware version is currently installed on the device?
By providing the required configurator version, we may be able to revert the firmware version. However, please note that the configurator may show a warning if there is a firmware mismatch. At the moment, it is unclear how the firmware got updated on your device.
If reverting the firmware is not possible from our end, then the device may need to be reflashed. In that case, you would need to send the device to our RMA center.
I would request you to connect with your sales manager or the service provider from whom you received the device. They will help you with opening a support ticket and guide you through the next steps required to proceed further in this case.
Thanks
Bonjour monsieur
Singh j’espère que vous allez bien ?
La version du firmware de FMB120 que j’ai utilisé à la place de FMB150 est:FMB Ver. 04.00.00 Rev. 13
Merci
Hi,
Please use the link below to download the required firmware:1.8.10_B.4.00_R.7
First, check whether the device is detected successfully. If it is detected, then upload the required firmware using the link above and use the respective configurator version to open/configure the device after the firmware update.
If the issue still persists, then firmware flashing may be required, and this process has to be done at our end. In that case, you would need to send the device to us.
To know the further procedure for sending the device, I suggest connecting with the seller or sales manager from whom you received/purchased the device. They will help you with the next steps.
Thanks
Objet
FMB150 inaccessible after incorrect firmware update
Hello Support,
Thank you for your response yesterday.
However, the main issue is that before I can even access the firmware update section, I first need to open the FMB150 device interface in Teltonika Configurator, but it completely refuses to open.
Is there any other application or method available to flash or recover the device besides Teltonika Configurator?
Regarding sending the device back to your service center, this would be a very long and difficult process for us because we are based in West Africa. In addition, this device had already been purchased and used before. We simply removed it from one vehicle to install it in another vehicle equipped with CAN. It was working perfectly before I accidentally performed the wrong firmware update. The problem started immediately after that.
Normally, it would be very helpful if users had access to a recovery/flashing tool for situations like this, similar to the recovery tools available for mobile phones. In our case, sending the device back to support would mean leaving our client without a solution for several months due to shipping and service delays related to our location in Africa.
Therefore, we hope there is a local recovery solution or a boot/recovery mode that would allow us to restore the device without returning it to the service center.
Thank you in advance for your help and understanding.
Hi,
Could you please check the Configurator shared in the link below and verify whether the device is detectable or not?
If the device is detected, please install the required firmware version and test it again.
If the issue still persists, another remote option would be to use the FOTA WEB platform. You can create a FOTA task to update the firmware version remotely. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the firmware upload will complete successfully in the current condition of the device.
Please try both methods:
If neither method works, then firmware flashing will be required. Currently, firmware flashing can only be performed from our end. If you would like to proceed locally, you may contact your local Teltonika Sales Manager and request assistance through the Teltonika Helpdesk portal. An assigned engineer from your region can then help you with the flashing process.
At the moment, these are the available solutions we can provide from our side.
