Hello,

To properly troubleshoot the issue on hand, some additional information will be needed:

  • What firmware version is installed on the device? If it’s not the latest, make sure you update it to the latest. Firmware files for RUTX50 can be downloaded here: RUTX50 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki

  • Additionally, make sure you have the latest modem firmware. It can be updated in the System → Firmware → Update firmware menu, however, it will require the device to have either an external WAN source, or working mobile connection. Currently, the latest modem firmware for the RUTX50 is RG501QEUAAR12A08M4G_04.200.04.200.

  • What operator SIM is being used in the device? Make sure you set the correct APN by navigating to Network → Interfaces → General, editing the mob1s1a1 (SIM1) or mob1s2a1 (SIM2) interface, disable the Auto APN feature, and enter the APN provided by your carrier. It can usually be found online or by contacting your carrier.

  • If that does not help, please log into the device via CLI/SSH, and run the following command:

gsmctl -A 'AT+CEER'
