Problem with CLI connection

Hi,
I have a problem connecting to the CLI on my RUT360.
I type Login: root, then I am asked for the password, but impossible to write it! I have the cursor and it’s impossible to write anything…
Has anyone ever had this problem? and what is the solution?
I updated my firmware, but the problem persists.
I thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards.

Hello,

Could you please specify where you are using the CLI? Are you talking about the CLI on the router’s WebUI?

Best Regards,

Hello,

Yes, i’m talking about the CLI on the router’s WebUI.

Best regards.

Thank you for confirming that. Can you please specify which firmware version you are using? The latest available is RUT36X_R_00.07.07.1. If you have an older version, I recommend upgrading to the latest one and then checking how the CLI functions after the upgrade.

Please let me know how it goes!

Best Regards,

I’m using the latest firmware version : RUT36X_R_00.07.07.1.

Best regards,

I just want to clarify that you can see what you are typing when you enter your username, but when you type your password, nothing will appear on the screen. After entering your username, simply type your password and press ‘Enter’ to log in. You can find more information on our wiki page.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,
