Hello, has this antenna any orientation how it should be attached? I would prefer horizontally, but in my case vertically is the better option. Does it influence the signal somehow? Any experiences here? Since there is no documentation about the assembly I’d like to ask you.

All Teltonika Networks’ antennas, including PR1KCO28, are omnidirectional. This means they emit signals in a circular pattern in all directions. Therefore, the specific mounting position shouldn’t significantly impact the signal strength. To get a visual representation of the omnidirectional antenna radiation pattern, view the image below:
Regarding the mounting of PR1KCO28. It is screw mountable. You would need to drill a hole or use an existing one if the diameter is correct. Then push the cables through the hole to the inside. The antenna’s copula should be outside. Lastly, tighten the nut on the inside, and don’t forget to put the washer.
As a general recommendation, before you start drilling any holes, it is a good idea to experiment with different antenna positions to find the optimal one before completing the installation.
