I use a Sysmocom eUICC and have two profiles on the card. Sind LPAC is already in the Image, I can switch between those Profiles without any issues.
If I want the Router to accept the card for a new Connection, I have to restart the router. Otherwise the router will simply not start a new connection.
Is there a way to restart the complete modem part to accept the new switched eSIM without restarting?

I’m surprised that you have to restart. Hopefully there may be some config that the guys here can steer you towards. Alas, I don’t use eUICC’s, so cannot offer any insights.
I already tried that but right now only a complete reboot solves it. Seems there is something in a Cache or so that keeps the os from using it. After a restart of the mobs1… the gui recognises the correct is of the Profile but no Connect ah all

I switch on the cli (ssh) by using lpac.
lpac modem0 enable-profile
which is working fine and comes back with “Profile enabled”.
After the switch the Connection will not be setup again and no IP is assigned. A /etc/init.d/network restart does also not help.
On the first switch the Staus on Status→Network→Mobile changes the ICCID but if I attempt to with a second time, it will not update anymore.
Is there probably a setting I can tell the router to handle the sim as you do with your sim capable routers?

if I read the logs correctly, it even gets a IP but then fails. The Log shows the moment starting from the esim change. The old IP on the modem with the other eSIM profile before switch ended with 159.
