Persistent “Bad Rule” Errors, Device Warnings, and NAT Loopback Dependency Post-Factory Reset on RUTX50 Firmware RUTX_R_00.07.10.2

Hello

I’m experiencing recurring issues with my RUTX50 router on firmware version RUTX_R_00.07.10.2, even after multiple factory resets and minimal setup.

The key issues are:

  1. “Bad rule” errors: appear when starting/restarting the firewall, mentioning iptables.
  2. Device warnings: reference unresolved mobile interfaces (mob1s1a1 and mob1s2a1), despite no SIM cards being used.
  3. NAT Loopback Dependency: External access to internal services only works with NAT loopback enabled. Without NAT loopback, connectivity fails even with port forwarding configured.

I’ve tried factory resets, disabling the firewall, and removing mobile interfaces, but the issues persist. Could these errors be related to firmware or configuration conflicts? Any guidance on resolving these would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Jut to add, I’ve rolled back a few updates and the bad rule problem is the same. Maybe it’s not an issue.
The real concern for me is port forwarding.
I’ve created a couple of port forwards and it works great in my network (NAT loopback enabled) using my public IP but not for others outside. I’ve disabled “NAT loopback” in the hope I get a true reflection of going outside my own network to test. But I then get refused to connect.

Perhaps I’m missing something as I tested HTTP and UDP offsite, back on the 4th October and it worked fine.

Any help would be appreciated
