Hello, on my RUT240 I had some simple scripts stored in /root/. Unfortunately they were lost after I upgraded the router to the latest firmware.
Is there a path where a file can be permanently saved, so that this file survives reboots and FW-Updates?

Just add the name of the files you want to preserve during an upgrade to /etc/sysupgrade.conf
