Password from Serialnumber

Hi,

I have two RUT956/RUT955 modems with a default password different then the old admin01.

The passwords have not been noted before they were delivered to the customer. Unfortunately, the location of the modems is difficult to access, hence the question: Is it possible to find out the default password from the serial number?

Good afternoon,

Unfortunately, passwords do not get saved in our systems for security reasons. If admin01 does not work, then to know the default ones, if you have not taken note of them, would only be on the back of the device.

It is worth noting, that as the devices are likely configured, the passwords should be with the person that initially configured them, and changed the password initially.

Then by remotely connecting to the device, and using that password, you would be able to access the device’s WEBUI.
