I am currently setting up a RUTC50 as a last-resort kill switch for a device. The setup uses the Output pin to control a normally closed (NC) relay that cuts power to the system, including the modem.
However, I’ve noticed an issue during the boot-up process. The Output pin activates, which could be acceptable if the logic were inverted. The real problem arises because the Output pin rapidly changes states before stabilizing in the last configured state.
Could you provide clarification on why the Output behaves this way on startup? This erratic behavior complicates the functionality of the system and makes the relay unreliable during boot.
The firmware version on the RUTC50 is RUTC_R_00.07.07.3.
Thank you for your assistance.
