OTD140 port config does not work

Hi,

I have a remote system where a PoE powered OTD140 also provides power and connectivity to an IP camera via the PoE-out LAN port of the said router. I’d like to be able to shut down the camera remotely, so I was thinking to just turn off LAN2 port via router config UI. However, there are problems;

1. I can see the status of ports on the GUI but it claims port 2 has PoE disabled even though the camera connected to it works.

2. When I select either port for editing I get a config screen for an unconnected port even though both ports are connected and live.

3. When I edit a port config and hit save, I get “Failed to edit configuration” notification and nothing has changed.

Any advice, please?

Yes, this is with the latest (OTD140_R_00.07.16.3) firmware.

The issue is related to updating the device with “Keep settings.” Our developers are currently resolving it, and a fix will be included in a future firmware updates.

For now, the recommended workaround is to perform a factory reset on the device.
