I have a NKE wifi box that transmits NMEA data over UDP port 50000. When i connect to the wifi of the box directly with several devices at the same time i can read and send NMEA data. Now I want to connect de box via wifi to my RUT360. The wif connetion is easely made in client mode. I installed the UDP broadcast relay service, asked AI al sorts of possible network settings but i cant get it to work.
The wifi connection tot de NKE box is on the WAN interface. I tried making differnt zones, port forward, trafiic rules and so on. But my client (navigation) software wont see the nmea data.
Thank you for reaching out and apologies for the delayed response.
This configuration should be possible with the RUT360, but to help us figure out exactly what isn‘t working, could you please provide the following information:
What is the current firmware version of your router?
What NKE model are you using?
What is the IP address provided by the NKE Wi-Fi network, and what is the local LAN IP subnet of your RUT360?
Could you share screenshots of your UDP Broadcast Relay settings, Zone and traffic rule configurations?
When we have this information we can help you troubleshoot further.
Sorry for my slow response. The router is on the boat so it is hard for me to get the information you want at this moment. I will get back to it later,
