Network shares function missing in 07.07.02

Hi,
I’ve just bought a new RUTX50 to upgrade from a RUTX14.
After initializing the Device i updatet the firmware to the newest 07.07.2
Under USB Tools there was no “Network Shares” Entry. Even in Advanced modus.

No further information in the Online manual.

Going back to 07.06.10 firmware I’ve got the network shares. But! There ist no possibility to enter a Path in the GUI!!! → not usable:

After 4 Hours and several FIrmware installations i’ve got finaly the follwing result.
Network shares has been moved since 07.07.1 to a package that needs to be installed.
That’s why I couldn’t find it in the menu.

The package needs to be uploaded from the Teltonika Website. Unfortuantly, the Package ist not compatible with the 07.07.2 but only with the 07.07.1 firmware.
After installing that firmware and the “network shares” package it worked fine!

@Teltonika: Please update your manual !

After going back to 07.06 the issue is solved.
Is this a bug?

Just to add my little bit…

I had network shares setup on my RUTX50 long before 0707.1 & 2 and after upgrades access to the networked USB drive continued.

The option to setup network shares is still available under services > USB Tools.

HOWEVER… when i try to paste a file to the root of the USB Drive i get an M$ message saying the file already exists, it doesn’t.

Are you experiencing the same copy and paste issue to the root of the connected USB Drive at all?
