MPPT 75|10 to RMS Monitor

Hello, i have a MPPT 75|10 Victron and a Teltonika TRB246.
I have connect them and i take via rs232 the raw data from the MPPT. Is it possible to monitoring the data i take from rs232 to RMS ( not with MQTT or Modbus) ?

Hello,

Perhaps this Wiki page will give you a better insight of how RMS collects data from our devices: How to monitor 3rd party data via RMS? - Teltonika Networks Wiki

The main point is that our device is still supposed to collect the information from your end-device in order to store it somewhere, so RMS can just go ahead and take it from the device.

M.

Hello Matas,

The TRB 246 ver. 7.20.3 have only modbus connection and no M-BUS as in the following picture.

If i configure in Serial utilities Over IP i can through putty to take the raw data.

Is any other way to take this raw data in the RMS.

Hello,

M-bus is only supported by the TRB143 device: https://www.teltonika-networks.com/products/gateways/trb143

Once again, please refer to the Wiki page - if you can store data within our router (either this could be through M-bus service if it’s M-bus data, but you’ll need a TRB143, or this could be via other services, depending on what kind of data is being collected).

If this end device is connected via an Ethernet cable, and you’re collecting Modbus data, you’ll have to use Modbus TCP Server, and you’ll then be able to set it up through RMS as well.

Regards,
M.
