I would like to know whether TRB256 Gateway (or other similar product) supports or will support Modbus secure in the near future (https://www.modbus.org/file/secure/modbussecurityprotocol.pdf). The main task of the product which I’m looking for will be converting Modbus security protocol (Modbus TCP/TLS) to Modbus RTU (RS-485) and vice versa.

We have received a response from our team regarding your request.
We are able to do a Custom Development project, provided the costs are covered by someone other than us. You may use the “contact us” feature on our website to discuss the pricing and requirements for your project.
In your case, however, as informed by our RnD team, a simple VPN connection (like OpenVPN or IPSec) could be used to have additional security when accessing a remote network or sending Modbus messages to it.
