MDAS9: changing warning sound for LDW issue

if i change the warning sound for lane departure warning from the calibration settings to 2 or 3. The sound is changed if I am using the main camera unit sound but if I switch to the display indicator sound the sound always default to #1? any idea?

Good day,

There is no definite answer to this question, as the MDAS-9 manual does not provide detailed information about your settings.

One possible explanation is that the warning sound options in the calibration setup apply only to the speaker on the main camera unit. The display indicator may use a separate built-in buzzer with more limited sound capabilities. Therefore, it may play a fixed default tone for each warning scenario, such as LDW or FCW, regardless of the sound selected in the calibration settings.

Best regards,
Victor

The display unit defaults to Sound #1 because the alternative sound files (#2 and #3) are stored locally inside the main camera unit. The display indicator hardware only has a single built-in buzzer tone and cannot play the custom files from the main camera.

To use your preferred sound, you must keep the audio source set to the main camera unit.
