Limit with miniDLNA on USB Drive?

Searched and found nothing on the miniDLNA ‘service’ in the forum, is anyone using it?

I’ve plugged in a USB drive to the USB port on my RUTX50, configured the General settings under the Services/USB Tools, so I have a working access to the USB drive. Then I’ve created a SAMBA network share and added my music collection.

Then I’ve installed the DLNA package and configured it again under the Services/USB Tools menu. I have the DLNA settings as a ‘Standard Container’ and it has scanned resulting in “MiniDLNA status: The miniDLNA service is active, serving 6709 audio, 0 video and 70 image files”.

The problem is I’ve got over 30,000 mp3 audio files on that USB drive.

When I connect to the DLNA service I can see and play mp3 files, but rather than seeing the full A to Z of artists, the list stops at the letter L.

Is there a limit with this miniDLNA service (I think the answer is no after some googling) or could my problem be something like a limit to the filename or file path size or something else?

The most recent test I did was to delete some folders on the USB drive (in the A to C range) to see if the miniDLNA added more files on the end, i.e. folders past the letter L. A rescan has occurred as the number of files has changed, but nothing past the letter L seems to have been added.
It now says “MiniDLNA status: The miniDLNA service is active, serving 6294 audio, 0 video and 68 image files”

All seems very strange to me hence asking for ideas please.
