LAN 3 conversion to WAN port not working as same as WAN port(eth1)

Hi,
we have converted LAN 3 as WAN port in rutx11 as per Setting RUTX11 LAN as WAN - Teltonika Networks Wiki

but after removing Ethernet cable from LAN3(eth0.3) the interface is not going down unlike wan(eth1) port where it goes down when cable is removed and shows up when cable is inserted.
tried this in firmware 7.03.3 and 7.06.10

Is this expected behaviour or bug how do we fix this?
