Issue with shared WAN network interfaces

Ever since upgrading from R_00.07.08.2 to R_00.07.09.0 on my RUTX50 and RUTC50, I am having an issue with shared network interfaces. I only noticed yesterday as I was setting up the RUTC50.

To explain:

From day 1 I had 2 wireless WAN client connections on the RUTX50 (failover):1x Multi AP and 1x Ziggo (the latter due to WPA2-EAP that cannot be handled through the Multi AP settings yet) and both would be connecting through wwan (as virtual WAN interface using DHCP).
The error I get is:

Has something changed in the settings that require another approach for this (I’m inclined to think it’s me), or did I actually run into a snag on the firmware? So far I tried all firmware updates up to R_00.07.10 and back, but no luck.

I have been searching pretty much everywhere, but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.

If the approach/setup has changed, could someone elaborate, or perhaps point me in the direction of the correct documentation please?

In case you are wondering why not just add another virtual interface?
Well, as it is virtual and not assigned to actual hardware, I run into the following limit/message: Only one DHCP interface can exist on “” physical interface.
