Internet access scheduling for particular devices on RUTM08

Hello,
is there any way to allow/disallow internet for specific time to particular LAN devices? Some sort of scheduler?

Hello,

You can do this by utilizing Static leases & Traffic Rules with Time restrictions.

First, you’d have to find out the MAC address of your specific LAN devices, and then give each of them a specific static lease under Network → DHCP → Static leases. You input the MAC address of the device, and give it a specific IP address that you can later use when creating a new traffic rule.

After this, go to Network → Firewall → Traffic Rules and create a new rule that would look something like this:

The Source IP address I input is the one from the Static Leases, that I set for that particular device. The next important one is the destination zone, which should be WAN (Internet), and lastly, Action can be set either to Drop or Reject.

Next, you can move on to the Time Restrictions tab to set up the time periods of when internet should be blocked:

After saving & applying the rule, you should now have a time restrictive internet access setup for your LAN clients.
