We have received a batch of Teltonika RUT956 units with the following specifications: “Batch Number 034” and “Hardware Revision 0505”.
I want to upload a backup from the same model of router (RUT956) with the same firmware, but with a different Batch Number and Hardware Revision.

When I try to load the backup on one of these devices, I get an error saying that the file is not compatible with the device (even though the firmware and model are identical).

Could the different “Batch Number” and “Hardware Revision” cause a compatibility issue?

Hello,

To upload a backup file from one device to another, the product codes (Hardware version) of both devices must match.
