We are using Teltonika FMC130, FMC250, and FMC150 devices. We would like to know if it is possible to reliably read the actual door lock status (locked/unlocked) directly via the CAN bus.
It is crucial for us to avoid any false data to ensure accurate monitoring and security of our fleet. Additionally, we have noticed issues with certain vehicle models—such as the Renault Kangoo (2008–2014)—where lock and unlock commands via CAN do not behave properly.
Could you confirm the reliability of reading this lock status via CAN and provide the required configuration for these models?
