Goodafternoon all,
Like some others on the platform I agree the e-sim functionality is not (yet) where it should be.
Just now I also had the following ‘bugs’:
esim set as default sim in network/general
but in network/eSim profiles there is the notification
“eSIM is not selected as the active SIM. It will switch to eSIM automatically after you start downloading a profile. To view downloaded profiles, select eSIM as active in the General page”
Without ranting any further…
Could you please provide the recommended procedure to remove e-sims?
I noticed that after deleting the e-sims, the WAN interfaces remained active or at least visible.
And the result is that you wreck a new e-sim if you try to install it on a slot of a deleted sim.
Cause it will try to connect - provider sees attempt at you’ll be unable to install again, while the existing installation is not visible on the router.
For me, a factory reset is not an acceptable method for removing e-sims.
Thank you in advance.
