I’m trying to block internet access to particular devices on my network and toggle this block On/OFF when needed. One of the devices is connected through LAN, the rest through Wifi.
I’ve tried following these instructions but got no results.
I’ve tried different combinations of “Source Zone” and “Destination Zone”…
Just put the source zone as LAN, based on the title topic, I would assume all those devices are connected to the LAN and getting internet via a WAN source.
So source zone wil be LAN then destination should be WAN (or any zone will work just fine).
After you clicked the save & apply, test it out. I’d recommend running a tcpdump as well on the device’s CLI just to see real time traffic.
Lastly, not sure if needed, if those devices are still getting some internet connection, try rebooting the router just in case.
