Having trouble creating an IPsec tunnel between RUTM50 and RUTX11

Hi, I am trying to set up an IPsec tunnel between a RUTM50 (Hub) and a RUTX11 (Spoke). I have configured the IPsec tunnel on both routers, and the status says connected. I can ping the private IP of the RUTX11 from the internal CTL window of the RUTM50 but not form my laptop’s Com Prompt window that is connected to the RUTM50 router. Can someone help?

Hi,

I guess no one will be able to help you in any way if you blur/hide even the private IP addresses.

Maybe you just have your laptop connected to two routers simultaneously (e.g., office network over WiFi and RUTM50 over Ethernet cable)? That would explain everything. In such a case, simply disconnect your laptop from other devices during testing.

Hi there,

Please follow @Unknown 's suggestion and if that doesn’t help, we may proceed to a private conversation to investigate the issue further. We will require more sensitive information from your end, such as the troubleshoot file, which may contain passwords, public IP addresses, serial numbers, and such. To avoid leaking this information, we have sent you a form to fill out, which you will receive in your e-mail inbox that you have registered your account with in the forums. In the Ticket ID field of the form, please enter the ID of this thread, which is 15641.

Thank you,
M.

Thank you this was a part of the problem. I turned off the connection to the office Wi-Fi, and I was able to ping the router.
