GPS Data not Available. No GPS signal

Good morning

Dear sir Device FMC130 Firmware New ver4 04.00.00 Rev:213
Send SMS

to GPS Data not Available. No GPS signal.

When was the last time you know it was working correctly?

Don’t know if the device normally gets its date and time from a mobile connection, your browser or via the satellites but the date and time is way out. This could make a difference.

Have you checked that the GPS antenna is firmly connected and not damaged at all. Does it currently have a mobile connection?

Where is the device, is it in a vehicle, metal box? Is the GPS antenna outside that metal box?

my dear Davies in office not installed in cars and outside office not signal Satellite

Hi,

Thanks for writing.

I suggest placing the device outside in an open area where it has a clear view of the sky so it can obtain a GPS fix. Since you mentioned that the device is currently inside the office, it may not be receiving sufficient GNSS signals.

Please keep the power source connected while testing and then check whether the device is able to get a GPS fix.

Thanks

Yes outside with a clear view of the sky above. I would also manually correct the device’s Time Zone and correct the date and time manually placing the device in it’s correct time zone at the right time.

hi pro thank you feedback me

Hi,

Are you also connecting an external power source, such as a 12V/24V adapter or battery? Sometimes the device may not show GPS satellites properly when it is not connected to stable external power.

Please try the following:

  • Connect the device with external power.
  • Place the device outside where it has a clear view of the sky.
  • Then check the GPS status again.

If it still does not work, then there may be some other issue with the device that would require further troubleshooting steps. In that case, I suggest contacting your Teltonika partner, sales manager, or seller for further assistance.

As I can see GSM/GPRS is available, please also test by sending the following SMS commands and check the response:

  • getgps
  • getinfo

This will help verify whether the GPS parameters are being detected correctly.

Have you checked this before?
