FTM134 / FTC134 / FTx134 External CAN adapter support?

The new FTx134 lists “external CAN adapter support” and the FTx134 video on Youtube briefly shows a little image of CAN-CONTROL / ALL-CAN300 / LV-CAN200, but I can’t find any other mention of CAN integration on the wiki page or elsewhere online.

  • What CAN interface options does the FTx134 support?
  • Will the FTx134 support CAN-CONTROL? Or have an option to send/write to the CAN bus?
  • Could the FTx134 support multiple CAN buses?
  • Will other future FT devices support CAN-CONTROL or similar functionality?

Looks like the FTM305 is the only other FT device that interfaces with CAN, but it only support a limited number of specific CAN codes (up to 10?) that also must be manually entered.

Would really like to use the new FT platform devices with reading and sending on the CAN bus. Other ideas would be welcome and the testing vehicle is a 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV Premier.
