Forwarding using a Private IP from provider

Hi,

I have a RUT906, which has a sim which is connected to a provider using a tunnel, so it gets a 10.x.x.x IP. I can access the portal of the modem via this IP if I connect my PC to the VPN. However port forwarding doesn’t seem to work. I have a raspberry pi connected to it with a static IP of 192.168.0.7 and I run a test application on port 8080. Via ethernet the service is reachable, however via WAN it isn’t. Is there any way to achieve this using a private IP on the WAN?

Ok, I think i solved it.

Connect pi to eth2.0 which is set to WAN zone, set a static ip on the PI of 10.x.x.x/16.
Set wan interface to static protocol.

Good afternoon,

Happy to hear the issue has been solved. Please advise if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Arturas
