we want to update our FMC150 firmware to the latest newest version 04.01.00.Rev.08, after download the firmware files we founded a document that describe that bootloader and can chip must patched in some conditions.
in our case the FMC150 firmware version is already 03.29.00.Rev.157 and CAN Chip version is 00_02.04.01 .. it is no need to update can chip and bootloader in this case ? can we update firmware directly to 04.01.00.Rev.08 without update CAN Chip and bootloader ?
Also it is possible to update the device firmware when the vehicle engine is ON and moving ? in our case installed on Volvo FM mk3
