FMC920 setup help

Hello everyone.

I just bought an FMC920, and hooked it up to my car. It turns on and I can connect to it fine.

The SIM I’m using is from Lemon Mobile - IoT Australian. No matter what I do; I can’t seem to get GPRS to not be “Deactivated” and I can’t get it to talk to my Traccar server.

I’ve reach out to Teltonika support twice, but I haven’t received any suggestions or replies. Would anyone have any ideas?

Hope this helps you. Try and check the following:

  • find correct APN settings of your SIM (Lemon Mobile provider)
  • is your Traccar server visible in the public internet? Is it really visible (are ports open)?
  • are you reaching to Traccar server by IP or by DNS ?
  • did you enter correct IMEI number of your SIM into your Traccar configuration?
  • can you see any message in Traccar logs which can lead you to success? (such as unsuccessful authentication?)

Thanks for showing me your settings.

My confirguation has been the same, and I’ve tried a variety of others.

I got a reply from a Teltonika staff and they suggested to try to swap the SIM cards. It turns out, the SIM I got for this FMC920 (Lemon Mobile) is at fault as when I placed my JB Mobile SIM from my phone into it, it worked immediately.
