FMC234 Towing Dect triggers Immobilizer feature?

Hi,

I am testing FMC234.
DOUT1 is linked to immobilizer feature (10s ign Off timeout, No Auth 0s (disabled))
Too, I enabled Towing detect feature on DOUT2 (Pulsing 400ms ON, 200ms OFF) and SMS sending to known number.
Act Period 1min. Event Timeout 10s.
I have iButtons registered.

When I leave device in Peace and turn OFF IGN on DIN1, it goes to ODS after 5min as set up.
IGN Sources are accelerometer and DIN1 ign, same for Movement.

I would expect device to trigger towing detect event, send SMS and set DOUT2 when I move it after more than 1 min. when IGN is off.

Instead it activates DOUT1 (??) - which should be linked Immobilizer - for ~90s.
As far as I understood DOUT linked to Immo cannot be controlled by anything else than Immo…
DOUT1 goes off again as mentioned which is also strange.

Too, no SMS is sent, so I reckon no Towing Detect event is recognized, but the device reacts to some accelerometer event.
No other Accelerometer Event is enabled.
Why is that?

Hi,

To better understand the scenario,

Please send the screenshot of the settings of your device.

For the immobilizer, if Ignition is detected DOUT will be activated and will only be deactivated when you tap an RFID card or iButton.

So if the ignition source is DIN 1 and DIN 1 is activated DOUT 1 will also be activated

As you mention for the ignition source you have selected are the Accelerometer and DIN 1

To make sure that the event will trigger accurately use only DIN as an ignition source and Accelerometer as a movement source.

Best Regards

Hey Maynard, thanks for the hint, this did the trick.

Device in this config both makes call and sends SMS and triggering Towing.
