I have a fleet of 16 FMC003

sometimes they freeze and not send

idk what else to do

changed a ton of settings

sometimes they recover after 2-3-4 h

sometimes never

i have firmware 03.29.00.Rev.358

looking at Firmware versions - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

newest is 04.01.00.Rev.12

i’m also using fotaweb

should i update to this?

the name is FMB??? is this correct?

tried to open my cnf with the new configurator and

”Failed to load selected configuration file, because 10.2.2.0 version with SpecId 1 is not supported”

if i do the firmware update it will fix my issue?

I will lose the device configuration?

should i download that firmware and upload it in fota web for distribution?

You should update to the newest version. That the filename starts with FMB is okay. The firmware is for your device. During the upgrade your settings are kept - you won’t loose anything.

To every specific firmware version and config file version there is a specific configurator. You can’t open older devices or config files in new configurators. After you completed the firmware update within the old configurator you need to switch to the new configurator which comes with the firmware update ZIP file and simply save your config file again.

Of course you can also use FOTA WEB to update your devices.

I can’t tell you for sure if the new firmware fixes your issue, but I strongly recommend updating anyways and you will see if it is fixed. If not, we can continue looking into it.

Did you upgrade to 004.01.00 rev 12? I have upgraded mine with the firmware from the link and npow the device is completely dead :frowning: No LEDs would light up.

Is that possible to reset it?

There is no way to reset it. You can try disconnecting the device from vehicle and battery for 10 minutes. If the device then doesn’t start up, it’s broken and you need to send it to RMA.

unfurtunately yesterday i’ve tried my luck with one of the devices firmware update

it worked for some hours

now i cannot reset it

doesn’t respond to sms commands

updated via fota web

idk what’s with these devices

or how to debug

some there are working some they don’t

same device/settings/firmware(old)/same avl/same network carrier/

everything is the same

mounted on same car type

now even in fotaweb

last seen yesteday 2025-11-25 22:06:04

so even this is broken now

Did disconnecting from car and battery do anything? Do any LEDs light up on the device? Can you see the devices in the configurator when connected via USB?
