FMC650 DOWNLOAD failed to receive configuration on FOTA failed, it has been on “PENDING” for 3 days now

FMC650 sto provando a scaricare da fota receive configuration, ho provato anche con sms con il comando WEB_CONNECT, compresi i due spazi iniziali. Rimane in pending da ora mai 3 giorni.

Hi,

If the task has been in Pending status for the last 3 days, the device may not have an active GPRS connection to communicate with the FOTA server.

Please check the following:

  • In FOTA Web, verify the device’s Last Seen timestamp and confirm when it last connected to the server.
  • Send the getstatus SMS command to the device and review the response to confirm whether GPRS is enabled and connected.
  • Check whether the device is currently sending live data to your tracking platform. If the device is offline on the platform, it is likely unable to connect to the FOTA server as well.

Additionally, if you want to force an immediate connection to the FOTA server, you can send the web_connect SMS command to the device and then monitor the task status again but active GPRS is required.
