FMC 130 Wrong Data

Hi,
We have some FMC 130 devices on our vehicles. Recently, some of these devices have been sending incorrect data. At times, they report incorrect points (even though the timestamps are correct), and other times, they show non-zero speed even when the vehicle has been stopped for a while.

What is the solution for this issue?

Hi,

Good day, Please make sure that you are using the latest firmware: Firmware versions - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

The device should have been installed properly from where it gets strong GPS and GSM signals.
Timesync should also be enabled into the device.

If the issue persists, please create a Helpdesk ticket or contact your sales manager.

Best Regards

I configured it the same way as you. Now, I just changed the time server. I will write the result here.

My NTP server configuration is the same as yours, but I receive an invalid time on the data received by the server.

The received time is about 30 minutes ahead of the current time!
@Maynard

Upon further review, I realized something. The location data has the correct time, but the position is incorrect! For example, let’s say we have three geographic points, where points 1 and 3 have both the correct geographic position and time, but point 2 has the wrong position, although the time is correct! On the other hand, although the server time is working correctly, the device is several minutes (sometimes even hours) off, and after a while, it automatically corrects itself!
notice that the point 2 is where device was there several hours ago

Last Data We Received From Device Today!

Hi,

Good day,

How did you configure the device?
Are you using the latest firmware for FMC130?

This is my configuration

Hi,

Please check how many satellites are available from the configurator. if you receive fewer satellites, try to change the location of the device.
Make sure that you have follow the correct device installation: FMC130 First Start - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

Try to test the data acquisition settings below

Ignition source should be DIN 1 . DIN 1 should be connected to the vehicle ignition cable
