Hi, I have being fitting FMB965’s having previously fitted many FMB920’s etc. I regularly have issues with GPS not detecting movement. I have tried deep sleep, online deep sleep etc & the only way I can get consistent movement is by switching sleep off. Even though I select ignition & movement as wake up sources & save to device the next time I connect to the unit they are not activated. I’m using current fw version. It feels like a software issue? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I hope you are doing well. Could you confirm which Movement Source you have set on the device Configuration settings? You may set it as Accelerometer so the device would detect Movement based on its internal sensor and not on change of GNSS data.
On the other hand, device would exit Sleep Mode once Movement/Ignition is detected from the device. Are you testing inside Office, I recommend you to test the device with an Open sky so the device can detect good GPS data.

Thanks for you quick reply. Yes I have Ignition, movement & GNSS activated for movement & makes no difference. This seems to be a common issue that I have with 965’s, the only way I can reliably overcome it is by having sleep settings disabled. It feels like a software issue somewhere as i’ve never had issues with FMT100, 920 or 204 models. Thanks Nigel
