Hi, I am working on a project using FMB125 where I need to send critical data to a linked server. I see you can send messages using Bluetooth Data Link - Auto Connect to External Device but I couldn’t find an example of how I can send this message. Is it possible to do this using like SMS/GPRS commands? Also, can I receive a message back from my server?
I´m trying using Serial Bluetooth Terminal app inserting my message (string) but it doesn´t works.
FMB125 can send data from a connected Bluetooth SPP device to a server using Bluetooth Data Link, but messages must be encoded in Codec 12 format, not raw strings, to be accepted by the server. The device acts as a transparent bridge, allowing external Bluetooth sensors/devices to send data to the main server. For further technical assistance, please raise ticket on to our helpdesk.
