We have a Teltonika router RUT365 with firmware version RUT36_R_00.07.02.7, and we would like to upgrade it to version RUT36X_R_00.07.05, which has a size of 10.8 MB. However, we only have 2.5 MB of free space available on the router.
Will there be an issue regarding the lack of space on the router?
Thanks for contacting Teltonika Networks’ technical support team.
When a firmware upgrade/reinstallation is performed the firmware file is stored in directory /tmp. This directory is stored inside router’s RAM, not flash memory. Meaning, you should not encounter storage problems in this particular scenario.
