Firmware Request - Unmask hidden IMEI Number!

Firmware request. A good few people are posting images revealing their IMEI number.

Is it possible to hide it by default with an unmask option. Hover over or click on an icon to reveal the number temporary?

Or move such information to a different place?

Hello,

Whenever we notice users posting sensitive device information on the forum, we always remind them that it’s not safe. If screenshots or logs contain visible serial numbers, IMEI, MAC addresses, etc., we recommend hiding or blurring that information before posting.

Could you please clarify what you mean by:

Are you referring to the WebUI? If so, could you let us know which page specifically you are referring to?

Here’s an example, we see this page posted on a regular basis. Just what info on this page should we be hiding?

A simple example, would hide the number and to reveal it you click. Try it for yourself!
