BT SMART HUB and Multi AP curiosity
Hi All,
I’m commissioning and testing my new RUT241 to be used in our motorhome. So it will use the mobile connection with failover to whatever Public/Guest wifi we end up overnighting by.
The idea being I can leave common ones in the MULTI AP list…
To test this I was using my home wifi supplied by a BT Smart Hub and my Phones HotSpot option, to provide two dummy public cloud services…
When added as the only Wifi spot in single WLAN failover mode each worked fine using all the default configuration.
When putting them into a MULTI AP list it only worked if My Phone HotSpot was first in the list…
VIewing the staus throught the WEBUI
If the BT wifi was first the Multi AP entry in “Network/Wireless” showed as running and my home wifi SSID name was present,
but in “Network/Wan” Interfaces the interface wifi0 shows as down…
If I then simply reverse the order of the two hotspots in the multi AP list so the Phone Hotspot is first it all works…
Any thoughts…?
