Failover does not work

HI Teltonika

I have a RUTXR1 with the latest firmware RUTX_R_00.07.09.4.

Wan link has Ipv4/ipv6 and an LTE link as a backup.

I noticed that when I unplug the cable, the failover does occur correctly but when I plug the primary cable back in, the wan and wan 6 interfaces does receive the public ips from the ISP, however in the faiolver section the wan is still shown as offline and only starts working aftter the reboot. Occasionally It works in the funny way where I have Ipv6 working from the primary link isp and the IPV4 still goes via LTE. The links have flush connections enable for all the events

thank you for any help

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

I’ve tested the failover functionality on the RUTXR1 with the latest firmware version (RUTX_R_00.07.09.4) and did not encounter any issues. The failover worked as expected without requiring the flushing of connections.

Could you confirm if you might be using the mobile WAN as the primary connection? Additionally, please provide a screenshot of your current Failover configuration for further review.

As a next step, I recommend performing a factory reset on the device and re-enabling the Failover function. If the issue persists after that, I have sent you a form to fill out. For the ticket ID, please use “9577”. Once completed, we will contact you privately to proceed with further troubleshooting.

Best regards,
