I tried to get my RUT955V03020 router working but it does not connect to any of the 3 available providers, i tried to proven to be working sim cards but router shows disconnected. red/green flashing light on the router mobile net work connection that means bad sim card according to manual. Not sure this is the case. I upgraded to latest firmware, not sure if this has an effect on connection as I am just a user no expert to understand all these acronyms

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
To better understand and resolve the issue, could you please confirm the following:
- Are you able to access your RUT955 WebUI?
- Are the mobile antennas properly connected?
- Is the correct APN being used? You can check this by navigating to Network → WAN mobile interface settings in the WebUI.
- Could you provide a screenshot of the Status → Network page?
Additionally, for better performance and improved user experience, I’d recommend upgrading your device firmware to a newer or preferably the latest available version RUT9_R_00.07.06.17.
Looking forward to hearing from you back.
Best regards,

Hello,
Thank you for the feedback.
Both antennas should be connected to ensure optimal signal levels and proper network performance. Additionally, if a PIN code is required for your SIM card, please make sure it is entered correctly by navigating to Network → Mobile → General in the WebUI.
Let me know if you need further assistance or have any additional questions.
Best regards,
Hi
Thanks for the info, I had the pincode entered correctly. Question on the firmware upgrade or not is still outstanding, I understand this model might not be supported anymore? Or better have a older firmware installed. I have -71 dBm, not perfect but not good either my mobile connection light is now only green instead of flashing red and green yesterday so seem that I get somewhere but sill disconnected mobile state.

Hello,
Yes, the RUT955 is EOL (End-of-Life), but it is still possible to update the RutOS firmware to the latest available version. Currently, you have the latest legacy 6.09.05 firmware, which can be upgraded to RUT9_R_00.07.06.17
Regarding the mobile connection issue, I’d like to investigate further. To proceed, I’ve sent you a form to fill out—please use 12117 as the ticket ID when completing it. Once submitted, we will contact you privately with further assistance.
Best regards,
