DOUT control via Call - Toggle

Hi,

I have an FMC234 that can be called to switch on a DOUT.
The device features deactivation of DOUT from other DIN input.

Is there another way of remotely resetting a DOUT again other than DIN control in order to create kind of a Toggle function or simply to disable an accidentally switched DOUT?
Sending SMS to disable DOUT can be costly for a toggling function, but may work for simple deactivation?

Thanks

Hello @PepeGPS,

I hope you are doing well. I believe you were referring to DOUT Control via Call Feature. In this case, there are 2 options for you to turn off the DOUT, either through DIN triggers or automatically after a duration timeout.

Since it is a feature, we could not manually control the DOUT activation, so I recommend utilizing the automatic timeout after a duration interval. For more information about the feature, you may refer to this link: FMC234 Features settings - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

Best regards,

Hey, yes dout via call.

There isn’t even the possibility to turn off /overwrite the output by direct with an SMS command (setdigout…)?

I need to turn on long time (2700s, Diesel heater). So turning it off remotely when accidentally turned on would be a very nice and essential option.

But I also asked in general interest as toogling the output makes a lot of sense as a feature. Maybe in a firmware update :wink:

Thanks

Hello @PepeGPS,

Thank you for your confirmation. Unfortunately, if the DOUT is used in a feature, you cannot overwrite it through the setdigout command.

Either use the feature or send an SMS/GPRS command to control it. Alternatively, you can send an SMS command to disable this feature instead of deactivating the DOUT, and then reactivate it when needed.

Kind regards,
Patrick S.

Ok. Will take a look into this.
