Data to server instance limit

Hello

have a limit of Data to server instance ?
i have a rs485 device 10 qty
first i plan to sent all 10 device data to 1 endpoint but format of data are very confuse. so i need to send 10 device data to 10 endpoint and in the future device will increase

Yes, the limit for Data to Server instances by default is 10. Could you clarify if you want to send data from Slave ID 1 to one endpoint and from Slave ID 2 to another, am I understanding correctly? In this case, if you want to send data from 10 RS485 serial communication supporting devices to 10 different servers. This can be achieved by configuring 10 Modbus Serial slave devices and multiple Data to server instances. In the router’s WebUI Services → Modbus → Modbus Serial Client page you’ll need to create one Modbus serial device configuration with rs485 serial port and 10 Modbus devices (slaves) instances assigning Server IDs from 1 to 10.

The last step is to configure Data to Server functionality. Configuration is pretty simple and involves only a few steps which are provided in this article, also it is important to mention that in Data configuration section Data filtering should be selected accordingly to the Server’s ID.
